GERD or Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease is sometimes called as acid reflux. GERD is a chronic condition in which acid from the stomach flows back up into the esophagus. The symptoms that a person suffers from with this disease can be very wide ranging as well as being extremely annoying. Generally, all foods can make the symptoms of GERD, because when food enters the stomach it stimulates the production of acid to aid in the digestion of food.
